Yorkshire Heart Design and Yorkshire Heart Clothing are the work of two proud Yorkshiremen with a shared love of good design, honest character and the place we call home.

We’re Dave and Rob, the people behind Yorkshire Heart Design and Yorkshire Heart Clothing. Alongside our regular 9-to-5 jobs, we’ve built and continue to run both brands ourselves—with plenty of hard graft going into the ideas, designs and everyday details that bring Yorkshire Heart to life.

Yorkshire shapes how we see the world and how we make things: proud without pretence, resilient, straight-talking and never short of character. Those values sit at the heart of everything we create.

Where it all began

Both Yorkshire Heart Design and Yorkshire Heart Clothing can trace their beginnings back to the Leeds International Beer Festival ↗—our favourite of the lot. What feels like an age ago now, over a beer or two, the first idea for Yorkshire Heart began to take shape.

There’s something fitting about it starting there: independent makers, distinctive character and people putting real care into what they make. Those same qualities have stayed with us as one idea grew into two closely connected Yorkshire brands.

Design with a sense of place

Yorkshire Heart Design began with a simple idea: bring the Yorkshire rose and the anatomical heart together in one bold identity. The result represents regional pride, realness and the quiet strength of the people and places that inspire us.

Yorkshire Heart Clothing carries that identity into pieces made to be worn and lived with—honest designs with a clear sense of where they come from.
